Drink beautifully with 100% organic, vegan Prosecco DOC that contains 0.7g of sugar per 100ml glass. All our sparkling wine is expertly produced in the purest possible way, enabling you to know exactly what’s in your bottle. We avoid adding an unnecessary amount of sugar to our wine and make sure that each bottle is produced to the utmost standard.
Our organic, vegan Prosecco is produced from Glera grapes grown on the south facing slopes of the Dolomite foothills, close to Soligo, North East Italy. It is free from pesticides and herbicides and for the weight-conscious drinkers, it contains 67 calories per 100ml glass. It contains 7g of sugar per litre compared with the traditional 12 to 15g.
First launched in 2016 as the original Skinny Prosecco, this delicious sparkling wine from the heart of the Prosecco region has become a by-word in the media for “healthy hedonism.”
Thomson & Scott Founder Amanda Thomson wanted to answer her own question – “why is there so much sugar and other nasties in my glass that I don’t know about?” So, she created Thomson & Scott Prosecco to fulfill the three main credentials:
- It had to be organic Prosecco.
- It had to be vegan-friendly to follow her life-long vegetarian diet
- It had to avoid the extra sugar that so many producers were adding to their bottles
Here’s the technical data:
Vineyards: South facing slopes in the foothills of the Dolomites, close to Soligo, North East Italy.
Winemaking: The wine has up to 7g of sugar per litre added in the production process, undergoing secondary fermentation in stainless steel tanks (Charmat method).
Alcohol: 11% Vol.
Residual Sugar: 7g/l
Acidity: 5.1 g/l
Kcal: 56 /100ml
Golden highlights and elegant textured bubbles. On the nose young fruity notes, with hints of apple. On the palate it’s incredibly mineral and crisp with a light and refreshing finish.
Perfect choice for “aperitivo”, but also with a range of fragrant and spicy dishes due to its refreshing acidity. Seafood risotto, mild cheeses and any tomato-based dishes, as well as with fruit-based desserts.
